Hi Samantha. I hope you remember me. I was a caddy for the futures tour for over 20 yrs ( yours for the G-burg tournament) in the York, PA area. I am glad to see you still playing. Remember DO NOT forget you have a God given talent. Trust your self and believe as I always have in your abilities. I will be following you this weekend in FL. Good luck. Wish I was there.

and by the way, what are the chances that three american/japanese would meet on one weekend so far removed from one another. have a great season!

    Samantha,
you might remember signing a hat for an old coger as you were loading the car after the 2009 DFT event at Beaver Meadow in Concord, NH. At that time you hadn’t won your second event to the year—and when I checked the money list at the end of the year I was delighted to see that your fourth place finish was “sending you to the big show.” I even tried to get a bunch of the guys there to become your sponsor, but had no luck. Your win on the Asian Tour early in the year 2010 was worth about two or three wins on the DFT—money -wise and lost track of what events you played in after that time. I love the story of how your mom and dad met—and I’ll bet that you’re probably the only lady on the LPGA with a degree in Chemistry and Mountie who’s a brother. I probably told you back in 2009 that I got “2 aces” in 2006. Not bad for a 77 year old dude (72) then.
Please update your blog or e-Mail this old man how wants to someday see you jumping into the Pond at the Nabisco Tournament!

Upon entering Beaver Meadow this year for the LPGA Futures Tour “International at Concord,” I encountered a number of banners with pictures of recent graduates to the LPGA. Since Samantha Richdale was not included—I went to the Futures Tour trailer and asked if they had something against Canadians, or just young ladies with “a degree in chemistry?” They informed me that it was neither. When I asked why you seemed to be “among the missing” this year, I was told they thought is was due to an injury. If that is the case, i hope its not serious—and you get your fanny back into the “Winner’s Circle” once again. Time is running out for me—and i do want to see you “take the winner’s plunge” at the Nabisco. (Is that Sunset Ranch in Loveland, Colorado?) If it is; this world is getting much smaller all the time. (100 Mile Ranch, B.C.anyone?)

I’ll be looking for that sponsor for you.
